  • Calcium carbonate, as an inorganic powder material, is a non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless environmentally friendly material, and is widely used in plastics, rubber, papermaking, building materials, and other fields. Like plastics, the current total output of plastic products and materials in China can reach 70 million tons per year, and calcium carbonate is a powder filler used in plastic processing with a large amount. The amount of calcium carbonate filled in plastics is up to 10 million tons per year. And through the continuous innovation of science and technology, the scope of use of calcium carbonate is also constantly expanding. Increasing the amount of calcium carbonate is of great significance for energy saving and emission reduction. The amount of calcium carbonate used and the scope of application are so wide, what should we pay attention to when we open a calcium carbonate powder processing plant? What is the calcium carbonate processing technology?


    There are four types of calcium carbonate powder:


    1. Calcium carbonate coarse powder processing (0-3MM)

    2. Calcium carbonate fine powder processing (20 mesh-400 mesh)

    3. Calcium carbonate ultrafine powder processing (400 mesh-1250 mesh)

    4. Calcium carbonate micro powder processing (1250 mesh-3250 mesh)


    Processing technology:


    1. Crushing:

    The large calcium carbonate material is crushed by the crusher to the feed particle size of the mill (15mm-50mm)

    2. Milling:

    Calcium carbonate that meets the feed particle size of the mill is sent to the silo through the elevator, and then sent to the grinding chamber of the mill by the vibrating feeder for quantitative grinding.

    3. Classifying:

    The ground material is classified by the powder separator, and the molecules that do not meet the requirements are classified by the powder separator and returned to the host for re-grinding.

    4. Collecting powder:

    The powder that meets the fineness requirements after classification by the powder separator is separated into the dust collector with the airflow through the pipeline for separation and collection. Or automatic packaging machine for packaging.
